What is the ITC Berkeley Old Style™ font?

Berkeley was originally designed under the name of Californian by Frederic W. Goudy in 1938 for the University of California Press in Berkeley. The UC Press still owns the original typeface, and the 1983 ITC version is a careful redrawing by Tony Stan. It has the flavor of several other Goudy designs, including Kennerley, Goudy Oldstyle, and Deepdene. This is a typeface designed for text applications, therefore, close attention was paid to the relationships of the weights. Book and Medium are close to each other in weight, with larger jumps to the Bold and the Black, used for emphasis and contrast.

You won't be able to find ITC Berkeley Old Style™ as a free download, so I suggest that you just go ahead and pay for it and download ITC Berkeley Old Style™ HERE. You can find some other great options here on Jorgensen-fonts.com as well that will save you time looking around all over the web.

It is always best to pay for a premium font rather than trying to find an illegal download. The benefits of paying for ITC Berkeley Old Style™ are that you get the license, and if you're caught using it illegally there could be some potential legal implications with the publisher of this particular typeface.

Furthermore, when searching "free downloads" on Google, most websites will say they have them but these types of offers usually come at a cost - either something like high-pressure sales tactics or getting tricked into downloading malware onto your computer by malicious third parties who want access to all your personal information!

It's just too risky going about finding free fonts online.
